""Mahalia" is Rosa Warner Jones' tribute to the legendary queen of Gospel, Mahalia Jackson. Rosa tells the story of Mahalia's humble beginnings singing in the Black Church, and continues with her success as a commercially successful recording artist, and finally pays tribute to her significant role in the Civil Rights Movement. Mahalia Jackson was the favorite singer of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and he would often call her to garner strength from her singing.

Rosa has deeply researched Mahalia's singing style, so much so that one can easily forget that you're not In presence of Mrs. Jackson herself. This is an ideal presentation for churches, colleges and libraries.

"Our Journey In Song" chronicles the evolution of the Jones Family and their ministry of song. Robert, Rosa and Arnesia have put together a full program that demonstrates the diversity of their music and their ability to move between styles like gospel, spirituals, soul, rhythm & blues, praise and even classical singing. This presentation is ideal for churches, libraries or stages.

The Jones Family is no stranger to bringing music to worship services. Some of the churches that have featured their singing and praise include Bethel AME Church, Hartford Memorial Church, Russell Street Baptist Church, Birmingham First United Methodist, Detroit's 2nd Baptist Church, United Metropolitan Church of God, and of course, Sweet Kingdom MBC. They have also performed for programs like the MOTTEP Foundation for Organ Donation.
